Hello and welcome to my website. I am a man of many passions but there are two destinations all paths seem to lead back to: Photography and Programming. I picked up photgraphy and programming around the same time in the early 1990's because the website development I was doing involved alot of picture taking. Well, I fell in love with it.

Alot has changed over the years but I always strive to keep current with the ever changing new technologies. This has allowed me to provide fast and creative services to help businesses or individuals to define themselves or the world around them through the use of modern media.

I hope that I can help you accomplish your goals, refine your vision and produce an end product we can all be proud of.

My previous programming experience covers Windows application development (C#), server-side scripting (PHP), client side scripting (JavaScript), SQL and flash (ActionScript). I have narrowed my scope of practice to web 2.0 application development and eliminated C#. From robust web site applictaions to portable flash applications this allows for non-OS dependent appications that can be developed to run locally our onthe web.

I have been designing, programming and implementing web sites for close to 15 years now and have a great deal of experience in giving the client what they want, when they want it.

Photography gained the interest of many scientists and artists from its inception. Scientists have used photography to record and study movements, such as Eadweard Muybridge's study of human and animal locomotion in 1887.

Artists are equally interested by these aspects but also try to explore avenues other than the photo-mechanical representation of reality, such as the pictorialist movement. Military, police, and security forces use photography for surveillance, recognition and data storage.

Photography is used by all to preserve memories of favorite times, to capture special moments, to tell stories, to send messages, and as a source of entertainment. It is more than just a copy of what is scene through the view finder, it's about how the image viewer interprets the picture.

In styles like advertising or architextural photography it's important to understand the message in the photo when required, to feel the emotion or to understand the point of what is being viewed.Sometimes, like with creative photgraphy, the messages intent should be left up to the viewer, allowing them to formulate their own conclusions and stir up their own emotions.
